What About Our Two Losses? - martyup - 09-24-2017

SDSU is now ranked #19 and USC is #5.  SDSU's schedule makes it unlikely that they will lose any games going forward and they should get a New Year's Day bowl game.  Therefore, these games should be considered "good" losses on our record.

If we can keep winning, we should be able to regain a decent ranking going into post season play.  Let's hope we can keep winning our games and get to the Pac-12 Championship game.  If it's SC, we get a chance for redemption.  What a season it would be if we could come all the way back and beat those dirty Toejams in the championship.  That would be a season to remember.

And SDSU is the home opener next season.

I will go to that game too. :)

I hope the game is at night and that the lights mysteriously go out at a key junction of the game during a timeout call.

PS I don't mean this as an excuse. There are many strange homefield advantages and field mysteries and teams have to win anyway. Like the Ravens did in the Super Bowl.

I think we beat USC 10 games from now...

Monday Morning Quarterbacking - Bruce Wang - 09-25-2017

What I want to know is why we didn't play KJ Costello in the SDSU game.  I can understand not playing him against $C - like how Clay Helton offered Max Browne as a sacrificial lamb to us - so as to not kill Sam Darnold's confidence.  With KJ we win in San Diego.

I feel badly for the Aztecs in that game. Likely will have a new coach and a home team opponent out for revenge

Based on that game, or the whole season up to that point?  Because if you think the Voldemort voters from the Southeast haven't already turned in their ballots by December, well, I envy your wide-eyed innocence.

Has it been reported that Rocky Long is retiring?  He's 67 but remember last year we played then 76-year-old Bill Snyder.

Pardon me, but if you seriously think that Helton started Browne believing that Darnold was a better QB  to preserve Darnold's confidence, I think you are very mistaken. If it was tongue-in-cheek, OK  ;D
