Stanford opens -12 over Oregon - OutsiderFan - 10-08-2017

Immediately down to -11.

And FWIW, USC opened -11 over Utah and immediately up to -13.

Could just imagine what the spread would be if we had Phillips and Kalambayi for the entire game.

Seems a bit generous.  I’d think 7 pts sounds about right.

Probably exactly the same. Missing two defenders for a half isn't that important. Looking at the impact that losing Tom Brady for 4 games last year someone (538 maybe) found it was like 3 points per game. Going from a HoF QB to an unknown backup is orders of magnitude bigger than losing a couple defenders for a half, even if they're good.

Re: Stanford opens -12 over Oregon. In 2016 we beat em by 25 - ADPATERSON - 10-08-2017

Last year on the road, we plucked them 52-27... on 7 TDs in 3 quarters.
They got two garbage TDs late vs subs.
We are looking for pressed Duck next week.Â
