Thankful for a 12:30 kickoff Sat - Snorlax94 - 10-29-2017

First, with freezing temperatures and snow forecast, it’s good for both teams. Playing  at 37 degrees and snow is rough but playing  at 27 degrees and snow is even worse.

Second, I think most importantly, the Stanford players can actually get home Saturday night before a short, 6 days before Washington on Friday. Washington is playing at home this week so they don’t have to travel back.

Third, a higher profile early broadcaat could be good for Love if he is recovered.

Especially considering the laws of physics.

Lol good catch cowboyindian.

Although, 37 and rainy also sucks.

Pedantic, but you could have ground temps in mid 30s while still getting snow falling. Depends on humidity. But probably wouldn't accumulate much.

It's certainly not unusual in the fall or spring to have above freezing temperature and snow. It basically has the same effect as ran on the field conditions as it will pretty much melt on contact.
