You are missing an unbelievable game

Re: OT: If you aren’t walking the WS - BostonCard - 10-29-2017

Not often you see Clayton Kershaw get dinged for 6 runs in 4+ innings.

Also, not entirely off topic; Houston's coachmanager is none other than Stanford's own AJ Hinch.

EDIT: Thanks for the correction.

BEAT LA!
As my best friend just texted me,  "Kershaw is no Bumgarner."

Cheers,
Pete F.

Pitchers' ump. Love it. What has happened to protecting the plate with two strikes on you.  Not on the ump Forsyth, it's on you.

OTOH very impressed with  Bellinger.  Both last night and tonight he shortened his stroke with two strikes and got big hits.

Just an incredible game and World Series.  Rooting big for AJ.  Of course would root for any team against da Bums

Yeah. Bellinger's had a helluva game; amazing turn around in-series. I didn't dig how he did the "shhh" sign to the crowd after his homer, especially since the lead didn't hold.

It was also cool to see Springer hit the HR after blowing it in the field.

Astros win it in the bottom of the 10th.  The series goes back to LA with the Astros leading 3-2.

Great, great game.  Astros with 3-2 lead.  Teams with a 3-2 game lead in the World Series win 67.7% of the time.

I was just in LA for a peer group meeting.  The host -- and one of my really good friends -- prepared placemats for all of us with a  2018 Dodger World Series theme.  Good.  Now I have a new dartboard...

Not a big baseball guy here (though this world series is certainly giving me a run for my own money), and originally from LA. I now work in the Bay, and I've been told by multiple dates "if you're a Dodger fan we may as well just stop seeing each other now"...does the hatred really run that deep? Where does it rank compared to other rivalries? The only rivalry I really know is Stanford-PublicNotStanford - and that's more of a big brother-little brother thing imo where they really hate us and we just kinda laugh.

That assessment is probably true in both cases...
