CBS "Expert" Picks for Saturday - hayaka - 11-01-2017
Amazingly enough, all seven on their panel pick the Cardinal to beat Wazzu.
What do they know that we don't? Probably nothing.

They probably took a quick look at the standings.
Saw a W5 and a L1 next to each of our names and that was that.
Maybe some of them saw that WSU had lost 2 of 3. Maybe.

Jerry Palm and Chip Patterson are just not to be taken seriously at all. Barrett Sallee came through the ranks of Bleacher Report. That's really a pretty awful group of prognosticators. And their primary focus is the Southeast. I'll bet the 3 names above have seen no more than a handful of Pac-12 games this year combined.

I mean, the fact we moved up in rankings last week should be evidence enough. They'll look at the score and maybe some stats and that's it.

Or a hockey guy. He used to be assigned to cover the BCS rankings and bowl projections. Always seemed to enjoy delivering the message that teams out west were just low on the pecking order.
