Today in the award that shall not be named -
BostonCard - 11-04-2017
Love is being contained, but has that 52 yard touchdown.
After a lightning delay, Penn State and MSU are back on. Berkeley has...5 carries for -3 yards. He does have a throw for 20 yards... and thats it.
In south bend, Adams has 5 carries for 22 yards.
Baker Mayfield is playing alright. In the second quarter, hes 7/13 for 146 yards, 2TDs and an INT.
JT Barrett is 6/11, 121 yards, 2 TDS and 1 INT. Also 10 carries for 49 yards. But Ohio State is losing 24-17 in the second quarter.

Adams is out of the game with injury.
Apparently so is Wimbush.

Berkeley up to 50 yards on 11 carries.
Barrett threw his second interception.
Baker Mayfield looks like the big winner this week.

Bedlam is a good one.
Mayfield just won the Hman with an 80 yard bomb.

Mayfield is going to throw for over 600.Â

Assuage your postgame blues by watching Bedlam on FS1. 55-45 Oklahoma with the Cowboys threatening and 10 minutes left.

Didnt JT Barrett win it last week? Hasnt sequin Barkeley been the man to beat since week one.?
I agree, though, that Mayfield should be the favorite after this week. At least until he isnt.

Not a Big 12 fan. Best thing today was Iowa slaughtering OSU 55-24. Great to see Urban Meyer get creamed.

Now 55-52.
Yeah, hyperbole. Are there any defensive players or even God forbid, a non-QB or RB, who should be in the conversation?
The team sure missed an opportunity to vault Love to front runner status today.

Last defensive player "in the conversation" was Ndomekung Suh.
You occasionally hear about a wide receiver.

Mayfield throws critical pick with chance to nearly ice game.
Cowboys inside the 50 still down 52-55 with two minutes and change.

Honestly I think the person that benefits most from today's results is Tate. If he can keep doing his thing he'll have a real chance, despite being a backup for the beginning of the year.

Not when he didnt start first 4. Mayfield is front runner this week for the Bogus Award.

Not if he keeps playing the way he is playing against USC. 3/6 for 27 yards. 7 rushes for 2 yards. Those are decidedly Sequon Barkeley-like numbers. Grant it that is only in the first quarter, so we will see.

Lol. Well then. Is there any team in the Pac-12 that plays with any consistency at all?

Can we ban all further discussion of this award for the rest of the season? It no longer has relevance to Stanford Athletics. Love has ZERO chance of winning it. Even if he balls out from Friday onward the best he will do is second place, like the greats who preceded him.
