There is stubborn and then there is stupid and boring. Won't sell tickets and expect season sales next year to plummet. Plus the dynamic William and Mary on the sked.
The best teams have Shaw figured out plus that isn't DeCastro, Martin and Garnett out there. More like Huey, Dewey and Louie. How they hope to run on UDub is beyond this staff with these players.

Yeah. Its amazing that there were 3 WSU guys in the backfield every snap, and stubborn guy on the sidelines kept doing the same old thing, expecting a different result.
Without Bryce breaking 50 yarders, were boring boring boring.

I'm curious what playcall you'd run when there are 3 guys in the backfield every play. Seems like the problem there isn't really the specific playcall, but, you know, the OL playing so badly that nothing could possibly work.

I mean maybe you can run a screen pass. That can work when you have an aggressive defensive line. I also pointed out that the QB keeper on a read option probably would have worked too.
A reverse can sometimes work if the d-line is overpursuing, but that wasnt what we had today; they were beating our guys one on one.
But beyond that you are right. There wasnt a ton that you could have done playcallingwise if your offensive line cant block better.

Yep. How many times did their 4 beat our 6? The OL was a mess. And then there is that little thing about constantly handing the ball to 20 and asking him to go between the tackles.Â
Supposedly we have the biggest and most complex playbook in college football, but we run 5 plays. Really?

I would rather split Parkinson's out wide and throw 20 jump balls.

A competent OC can scheme around what WSU was doing.
