5 Reasons UW Wins on Saturday -
neighbor3372 - 11-07-2017
Hola Card fans, congrats on a fun season so far. Looking forward to getting to Santa Clara and cheering on my DWAGS this weekend. Your team and fans have always been classy, so it's a treat to be able to share a crisp fall day with Card fans in a sold-out Stanford Stadium.
First things first, however. UW is going to win this game, and here are five reason why.
1. Jake "Cobra" Browning. He is the best player on the field, enough said on that, he has 4 years of high school and almost 3 of college under his belt and will do whatever he can to win.
2. Offensive Line. We average a weight of 332 across the line, and are ready are dominate the line of scrimmage. Tray Adams, Harris, Center, Ossai, Macgeary. These boys have an attitude and are ready to rumble!!!
3. Kawasaki. A new defensive scheme and a new attitude. Everyone has spoken about the difference between our defense against Arizona State and our defense since then. You will see a much improved defense on 11/11.
4. Speed, Speed. Speed. This is the fastest team UW has had this century. Mahatma Ahkmed, Jon Ross, Charlie McClutchins, Dante Pettis, Hunter Bryant. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring a whole new dimension that UW has not had in a long time. Speed.
5. Time of Possession. I think we can dominate the time of possession battle in this one. The more we can shorten the game and keep our defense off the field, the better chance we'll have to win.
I think UW wins this one rather easily, say... 34-17???

Maybe I am misunderstanding your post, but Jon Ross plays in the NFL now and Hunter Bryant is out with an injury...

Fair point, but both are really fast and the defense practiced against them a lot.

The problem is you have to be careful with cutting and pasting. Effort level is pretty low here.
I think I remember this post most every year, but the one that pops up is from 2014

1. Troy Lundquist- He is the best player on the field, enough said on that. He has two years under his belt and he will do everything possible to win the game.
2. Offensive Line - They average a weight of 332 lbs across the line, they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Atoe, Brostek, Shelton, Dexter, Criste, Tanigawa, Ossai etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble.
3. Kwiatkowski - New Defensive Scheme and a new attitude. Every player has spoke out about the difference between Wilcox and Kwiatkowski, we will see a much improved defense on 9/26.
4. Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest UW team has been in a long time. Deontae Cooper, Budha Baker, John Ross, Max Richmonnd, Troy Williams, Kasen Williams, Virta Vea etc. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring something that they haven't had in past seasons, speed.
5. Time of Possession - I think UW can dominate the time of possession stat. The more they can shorten the game and keep their defense off of the field, the better chance they have to win the game.

Also, this particular username is new, which suggests someone who is either plagiarizing or posing as multiple different people on the same board. I don't know the rules here, but in most communities that is a TOS violation.

>"DWAGS"
> Browning has thrown less than 30 passes combined over the last 2 games
>"Tray" (actually Trey) Adams, your best lineman, got hurt for the season
> The game is on 11/10
>Neither Ross (NFL) nor Bryant (injured for the season) are going to play, and Mahatma Ahmed is borderline politically incorrect?
> Point 2 and Point 5 are basically the same
I give it a 2/10, worth the read once but wish I had my time back.

Apologies Carde fans. As you've surmised, this is obviously a Cuogar fan trying to make Dawg fans look bad. Wish you folks could have pulled one out against them in Pullman last weekend.

Thanks H-dawg. As far as trolls go, let's just say that even if the Russian "Internet Research Agency" was hiring... this guy probably wouldn't make the cut.

Typical classless leglifter fans!
I remember watching their so-called fans push an old lady in a wheelchair down the stairs of the visitor section of Huskieie Stadium!
Beat the h*ll out of UW since we are in an obvious rebuilding year, but once Burmeister gets his reads down, we will be BACK!
