With WASH down, does Pac12 Champ go to... FIESTA BOWL? - ADPATERSON - 11-11-2017

What a truly satisfying set of tough football highlights vs UW. You come to El Palo Alto and the forest will subdue you with Intellectual Brutality.
BEAT ןɐɔ. I get it. Players focus one game at a time.  As FANS, we get to dream:

No two-loss team will go to CFP, in my view (except BAMA bcuz of the Sabanite Cult at ESPN).  So, Pac12 is OUT.
As I see it:  BAMA-GEOR winner goes in #1 slot; NDAM at #2 if they win out; OKLA/TCU at #3 if they win out; CLEM from ACC champ game (MIAM loses to NDAM).

Dominoes for Stanford from here...
1) Keep the Axe; Roger that.  If UTAH upends WAST tonight, then we beat ןɐɔ for North Title. Check.
2) Stuff Your Lady on Nov 28 for Legends. That game WILL be on Natl TV, a duel of    running backs: Our LOVE vs Josh Adams for Irish.
3) If UW skins the Cougs for Apple Cup (in Seattle, Sold Out), we go to Levi.
4) Thump U$C in Pac12 Title Tiff -- we know how to do that.
5) Pac12 Champ at 10-3 probably gets FIESTA Bowl? vs B1G Champ game loser (WISC or OHST?)
Alamo Bowl would likely take Pac12 Champ game loser or a 10-2 WASH squad... Stanford to Holiday in SD, Dec 27?
[Trying to do some Holiday planning with family...]
We can dream. And BEAT ןɐɔ!  GREAT turnaround, MEN. C-HOUSE!

The Pac-12 champ will go to the Fiesta Bowl. It's a contractual obligation.

Also, I heard it likely that the other Fiesta team is the best group of 5 team, which sets up the possibility of Stanford going up against its former QB, Scott Frost.

Odds Frost is still coaching them at that point? Hard to believe he's still there after this year, and most new hires can't afford to stick around to coach a bowl game. Maybe the Fiesta Bowl would be different.

I thought the Big 12 champ is committed to the Fiesta Bowl if it's not in the playoff?

IF, IF Stanford wins out and goes to the Fiesta (pending an UW win over WSU, and Stanford then beating U$C in the championship) I will be happy to make the short drive from Tucson. Hell I might actually host a tailgate if people do not want to go to the alumni organized one.

Seriously? It’s now the Playstation Fiesta Bowl?  Whatever happened to Tostitos?  I mean that was a pretty good branding opportunity.

Apparently much of this has now changed. The only NY6 bowl game with conference ties this year is the Orange Bowl which is ACC vs. B1G, SEC, or Notre Dame. Everything else is up for grabs.

And now back to Big Game Week - BEAT KAL!!!
