Worth a listen, the main interesting nugget was Shaw's rationale for taking the ball when we win the coin flip, which boiled down to that he thinks with our pace of play it's more likely that we'll end the half with a two-minute drill if we take vs kick, giving us an extra possession in the first half, which can put pressure on them. I'm not sure that's necessarily true, but it's an interesting rationale that I hadn't considered before.
There's other good stuff in there, including (unless I'm mistaken) a question from our very own Hank 91 about Costello's development.

On the radio show, Scott Reiss and Todd Husak mentioned an advantage to deferring that I didn't realize: you basically get to choose the 2nd half kickoff AND what direction you'll be going at the time.
They opined that the rule should be changed.

Yes, that was me. I've gotten a question answered during each session of these. Basically, if you ask something intelligent instead of "WHY DON'T YOU START COSTELLO???" -- there are lots of those -- they'll answer your question. It's pretty cool.
