Pac-12 Bowl Game Status - Mick - 12-28-2017

Conference Record to date is 1-3.  Next two Pac 12 games are tonight, Stanford vs. TCU at 6:00 in the Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome and Washington State vs. Michigan State at 6:00 in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.

WIN:      Heart of Dallas Bowl, Utah 30 vs. West Virginia 14

Darnold throws a pick six and tOSU is up 17-0 on USC.  Brutal bowl season for the Pac-12.

Now 24-7 tOSU (soon to go into the half) in a very mistake plagued game.  USC has two fumbles (including one strip sack) and a Darnold pick six; tOSU muffed a punt.

I almost feel sorry for Darnold.  It seems like he is being sacked on every third pass attempt.  Two strip sacks, and an interception, and tOSU will win 24-7 (or 14, if SC scores a meaningless touchdown).

Almost felt like he purposely let the play clock run down in the 4th q.  Can't say that I blame him.  He was getting killed!  Real question watching the P12 - and especially Stanford - when and how do we start getting big and nasty DLinemen?

I was really surprised how thoroughly the Buckeye's D dominated the LOS. Also noticed Darnold never tried throwing to the left side of OSU's secondary at all, though I only tuned in late in the 2nd quarter. SC's D did tighten up in the 2nd half but it was all but over anyway. 

& of course, SC reverted to the form of their past glory days with the late ejection though I'm not sure why OSU's #3 wasn't also tossed for visibly throwing several punches. Fight On, indeed!
