I read somewhere that Shaw said he thought it was 50-50 on Love.

We will know about Love, as well as Reid & Meeks, by end of next week. I believe Jan 15 is the deadline to declare for the NFL Draft.
I think Reid is gone but Meeks & Love will stay.

I wonder what influence, if any, McCaffrey will have Love's decision.
Love has always spoken highly of McCaffrey, and I can't help but think he'll reach out to ask for an opinion or maybe just some insight into life as an NFL rookie.
There is also the indirect influence. More than one media report spoke about Love emerging from McCaffrey's shadow. To us diehard fans, I don't think that lasted beyond the first couple of weeks of September. But Love would obviously be an early Voldemort favorite and with any luck surpass C-Mac's career rushing totals.

Love it, a player with a bit of humor. I went to school with a bunch of guys like that. 800 SAT's but most became high school or college coaches and are retired on the State's dime. Most still married and happy.

Moving Meeks to safety seems pretty dumb when he's been excellent at corner. That's the first I've heard that mentioned as well. Wonder about the veracity.

It's amusing to me that people took Buncom's and Peek's tweets to be as if they were deciding not to declare.
OF COURSE they are coming back. Buncom was kidding; he realizes he is not going to be drafted, at least not yet. It is akin to Jack Richardson tweeting that he was returning instead of entering the draft. It would have been akin to Austin Maihen tweeting that he was deciding to return. Bo Peek isn't even a junior yet, anyway.
