Found it. I needed to enable the feature that lets members like or dislike a post.

Up in the upper right of each post is a voting mechanism. Would you prefer the thumbs up/thumbs down symbol or up/down arrows?

Hmmhhhh .... that's different then the beta version. 

The thumbs are pretty small - on my screen they look more like blobs.  I'd go with the arrows unless you can make them bigger again.
