OT: NFL Quarterbacks - Mick - 01-12-2018

I didn't realize that former 49er Alex Smith led the NFL in passer rating this year with a 104.7.  Top ten are:

1. Alex Smith • KAN 104.7
2. Drew Brees • NOR 103.9
3. Tom Brady • NWE 102.8
4. Carson Wentz • PHI 101.9
5. Jared Goff • LAR 100.5
6. Matthew Stafford • DET 99.3
7. Case Keenum • MIN 98.3
8. Aaron Rodgers • GNB 97.2
9. Philip Rivers • LAC 96.0
10. Russell Wilson • SEA 95.4

Jimmy Garoppolo's late season surge would have had him rated ninth in the league at 96.2, had he played for the full season.

Is there a more useless stat than passer rating?  I like Alex. But the stat is darn near meaningless.
