If Mills cannot play, that only leaves Costello and Richardson. Jay Tyler may need to take some reps at QB during spring practice.
Keller Chryst is listed on the spring roster even though he announced an intention to transfer. Is the team waiting until he announces a school before they remove him?
Based on the roster, looks like all eligible seniors are returning for a 5th year except for Isaiah Brandt-Sims, Denzel Franklin and Lane Veach.

Keller Chryst is listed on the spring roster even though he announced an intention to transfer. Is the team waiting until he announces a school before they remove him?
Based on the roster, looks like all eligible seniors are returning for a 5th year except for Isaiah Brandt-Sims, Denzel Franklin and Lane Veach.

He's going to be injured until the fall and probably won't be in game shape until midway through the season.

After investigation, he may find the path to reaching the field at Stanford (injury to Costello) is less imposing than other schools where he may not be guaranteed a starting spot either.

There's another eligible QB on campus with impressive high school credentials:
Three time Gatorade state player of the year.
143 career TD, 10 career interceptions. (55 TD / 1 interception as a senior)
11,357 career passing yards, 69.2% career completion percentage.
May have conflicts with the spring practice schedule, though.
