Thanks for sharing - the media cycle for this story is so exemplary of our unfortunate contemporary moment as a culture: report something without all the facts, take every opportunity to admonish and cut someone down, and then only later bother to get to the truth of the matter. McElwain did a real solid there, and definitely deserves praise rather than ridicule. And props to him for not seeking to clarify the record and instead let the truth speak for itself.
Maybe Florida sportswriters should go back to drinking their home brew Gatorade instead of sipping on Haterade.

Honestly, I rarely read comments. If you want some exposure to the depths of human idiocy and depravity, just read the comments on virtually any topic on virtually any board.

and what I find hard to believe is how nasty long some of the comment streams can be, some people ned to find hobbies.....
