I had SDSU down as a Saturday game on my calendar, did it get moved and I missed it or am I just dumb?

And while I would normally dislike it being Friday night, note that's Labor Day Weekend, so kinda makes sense.

Not too many surprises on the times.  SDSU is evening because it's a weeknight; USC gives us a national primetime slot; UCD is morning because it's not too high-profile so they want to stick it in one of the edge timeslots.

I wonder if the 11am time slot will become more common for Pac-12 games, Oregon also gets an 11am PT game on Sat 08 Sept when they play Portland State......

I wonder how I missed that...

I'm not sure what we'll be doing, none of these times are really convenient with my kid (he naps in the early afternoon and goes to bed by 8), but I really want to bring him to games. He enjoyed Big Game last year, I suppose we may as well give it a shot f

Probably for the FCS warmup games.  That's fun for the people in town but probably not the biggest draw to watch on TV.

I’m very happy with these kickoff times and hope the trend continues!

The SD State game at 6pm is such a better time slot than the 7:30 I feared. Also I think the weather can be beautiful catching the golden hour.

The SC game is a little later than I expected. Would’ve loved slightly earlier for the national exposure, but it’s still solid.

And while 11AM is a little early for UC Davis, I vastly prefer late morning over the Pac 12 at night.

I hope we never get a night game except in scorching Phoenix, or for certain postseason games.

I know people have different preferences but I have young kids and many of my friends whom I invite have young kids so these kickoff times are a big help for people in my situation.

For putative adults these times look to be about as good as could realistically be hoped for. Even in mid October, early evening is not a bad way to go for ASU. The home September early evenings for SDSU and U$C are also preferable for me if very warm temps, and just fine if moderate. Plus, not so late as to make commuting or porting of munchkins odious. Domers on the road in evening for us beats the hell out of those Eastern time zone body clock 11 AM games!

Davis - probably better for that time of year to be earlier rather a 1-3 o'clock kickoff into the hottest part of the day; besides, only grad students and other Fall sports jocks around to complain about being too hung over to roll out that early.

Hoping my restrained enthusiasm is sufficient to assuage the woofing gods so they don't deliver an unbroken string of Q4 kickoffs @ 8 PM for the rest of the schedule.

I wonder what times the jackass head of the league whose name I can’t remember (call him Voldemort) awakes and hits the sack. Probably all over the clock. AFAIC he can stick it.
