Schedule for Women's Volleyball published today -
http://gostanford.com/news/2018/6/18/womens-volleyball-2018-schedule-revealed.aspx
The team kicks off in DC vs American and Howard.
Non conference highlight is home matches vs. Penn State, Minnesota and Texas in a 5 day period in early September.
To my disappointment, the team is out of town in LA during homecoming weekend. I always enjoy seeing the matches when I am up for homecoming. Maybe I'll be back in LA in time to catch the UCLA match.

Several mid week games which I don’t like. Only 3 home nonconference games.
But love the team and am a season ticket holder
Stanford just got acceptances for their outstanding 5 member 2019 class who will sign in November.
Right now the team is in Europe for several games and a wonderful trip.

But what a trio: Texas, Minnesota, and Penn State!! Hambly delivered on his plan to get some top teams to come to Maples, and how! I'll take those 3 over 10 cupcakes any time.

No Cal Poly. Bummer. Was hoping to catch my nieces at Maples - maybe they will play Santa Clara or SJSU or the Weenies. Their last year playing together.

I was hoping to see Cal Poly also.
Stanford lost in five to the Slovakian National team the other day and today beat their Jr team. The European trip going well

Did anyone notice the home-and-home with Texas -- in the span of a week? Stanford hosts Texas on Sept. 11th, and then Texas hosts Stanford on Sept. 14th. That's a Tuesday and Friday, respectively. How does Texas get its players that much time away from school to play a Tuesday game two time zones away? And what would be the benefit of turning around and playing the same team three days later?
Not complaining though, both games should be great!

I checked and classes would be happening that week
at Texas, but
not at Stanford.
It would have made more sense if Stanford had played at Texas on Tuesday, and then back to Stanford on Friday.
