The video links for each court were hard to follow earlier in the week.
It is going to be tight. Â UF won the doubles point. Â Stanford won on court #4 and court #2. Â To make it 2-1 Stanford
Florida is up on court #1, in a match that looks destined to be UF\'s.
Stanford is up a set on #3, #5 & #6. Â The school that wins 2 out of those 3 wins the title. Â But UF is up a break in the second set on two of those courts. Â So, it looks as though the winning school will win in a third set, likely on Court #3 or Court #5.

3-2 Stanford after Li finishes off the straight set victory at #6.
Burdette lost the second set in a tiebreak, but broke in game 1 to lead 1-0 in at #3.
McVeigh roared back in the second set from a 4-0 deficit to get on serve at 4-4 after taking set #1 at the #5 slot.

Down to the last match, as McVeigh loses the last 8 games to fall 5-7, 6-4, 6-0.
Mallory Burdette and Boonstra tied 5-5 in set 3.

Hopefully this is the return of Stanford\'s women\'s tennis dynasty.
Did we ever establish how many championships UCLA has won this year? Are we closing the gap on them?

UCLA has 105 listed on their website. Â I believe that is their official working number.
I would also believe that their working total DOES NOT include that one softball title that was officially vacated due to violations.
Stanford could return to the glory averages of 3 or 4 a year while UCLA is pulling in only 1 or 2. Â Even if that pattern played out Stanford would finally pass UCLA in the middle of this decade.
So I think UCLA is safe for a while. Â Though they take balancing their AD budgets more seriously than the NorCal siblings, so it is possible that UCLA will find it hard to maintain their historic run rate in this new decade.

Great job by the women! Some really gutsy, tough play, especially after losing the doubles point.
Tremendous tournament run -- they came in as the #8, and they beat the #1, #3, and #5. Excellent work!
Mallory\'s big sister Erin also clinched the NCAA championship for us. Nice to see another Burdette come up with such a big win!

Farm93 is correct, UCLA has 105 NCAA championships and Stanford has 99. In the last six years (from the 2004-05 school year through this year to date), Stanford and UCLA each have won 11 NCAA championships. So we\'re not gaining ground.

Niiiiice.
I went into a meeting with both of the final two matches hanging in the balance and worried we would face another finals disappointment. I realize the women had over achieved to get to the finals but there is no denying that shouts of "We\'re number 2" were getting a little old this year.
Well done Womens Tennis! Â And yes, the offices next to me are reporting me to HR for repeated screams of "We\'re #1".
