Fall/Summer Football Camp Has Begun - CTcard - 08-03-2018
Yesterday was the first day of fall/summer training camp.
I have heard that Burkett was the only significant guy out, though it was unclear to me how close to 100% a couple of others were.
Any further news?

With all due respect, today I don't need no further news. Knowing that we've made it through Death Valley where it seemed only crickets, rumors, and opinions on Giants baseball dominated...we will soon have some real news about real Stanford football. Not there quite yet, but this time I think that shimmery thing off in the distance is real, not a mirage. It's morning back here in CST (OK, CDT). Think I'll pop a beer.

I remember, in my youth, a time when I would spend about 30 minutes a day with newspaper box scores, I would yearn for the day that "pitchers and catchers report." This is similar.
