2 drives. First ends when he misses a wide open receiver on 3d and 8. Second on a play action int when he first locks on and then throws well off target.

Yep, the nightmare scenario is our running game gets stuffed without Love, and KJ has a bad day throwing the ball. Obviously it's early, but so far it is happening.

Yeah, I was wondering how long KJ has to play this badly before Shaw gives Mills a shot.

Shaw actually went for it on 4th down from the Davis 36 and we made it. Things are looking up.

OK we get on the board on what I'm sure was our signature goal line pass play where JJ out jumps the DB.

Perhaps, the team had the same arrogance coming into this game that some posters have. This game is Davis' match of the year. Just as Stanford raised its game in the "Greatest Upset Ever," Davis put its all into this game.

KJ needs to put his mouthguard in his mouth. It's not doing much for him wedged into his helmet.

There are times it makes sense to pick up tempo. When you are struggling against an undermanned opponent is one of those times. I understand and agree with Stanford’s philosophy tempo wise. But a little flexibility would be nice.

Look, I get that that first quarter was frustrating to watch, but unless you think we're going to turn it over eight times this game it wasn't super meaningful. Except insofar as even gifted those two turnovers the Aggies could still do barely anything. And hopefully Costello has woken up and will quit making dumb mistakes.

I was at my girls' soccer game the first quarter. Thank god. Nice touchdown to JJ-AW.

We have first and goal from the 10 and they hold us to a field goal. This game is definitely not our offense's finest hour. Hopefully things will pick up.
