WSU watching options - JohnVernon - 10-27-2018

I am in NYC and my cable service does not carry the Pac-12.
Is there any way to watch the game online or another network?
I'm too old for viewing party at Finnertys.

I just signed up for Sling's 7-day free trial.  But it occurs to me.  Is there no way to pause or rewind the program?

This topic seems FAQ-worthy to me. Let me check if I have all the useful info.

SlingTV looks like a good solution, though I haven't tried it myself. BC posted a very informative link. Sling Sports Extra gives you all the Pac-12 channels in HD and lets you DVR them, right? That's really good.

I have Comcast/Xfinity in Palo Alto. I get only the main Pac-12 channel in HD and their Bay area channel in SD through the DVR. I can get the other channels in HD online, but they are laggy sometimes and can't be DVRed. Which channels Comcast makes available depends on your area, and I think none are available outside the West.

Do other cable companies that carry Pac-12 have similar limitations as Comcast?

I recall Dish also has Pac-12. Do they have all the channels available nationwide and DVRable?

Did I miss any other services that have Pac-12?

I don't really want to hear about pirate streams. But I could put a link to whatever the canonical place to find them is, I suppose. Is that somewhere on Reddit?

I have Sling TV. I think for Pac-12 Network access you have to get the sports extra and the orange package. With some broadcasts you can stop and then continue where you left off. Not sure that feature is as advanced as with other platforms. I get it via an HDMI Roku device but you also can stream on your phone or PC.

I signed up w/ Sling today.  I tried a couple of the games currently on, but can't pause.  Message says "this function not availale on espn".

P12 Network on Sling does have pause and rewind functions.
