So if the UCLA game isn't on a real broadcast network, I will have not seen Stanford play:
UC Davis
Washington State
Washington
Oregon State
Cal
UCLA
I didn't watch much of USC because it was boring AF. I watched about 3/4 of Oregon, 1/2 of Notre Dame, and hardly any of Utah. This will be the first time in I don't know how long, I will have seen less than 50% of Stanford play football in a year.
Really pissed Big Game isn't on ESPN or FS1.

I mean, if you don't mind the, uh, dubious nature, /r/cfbstreams will certainly have it. There's one streamer that does every CFB game in great quality.
I don't have tickets yet this year, I figured the secondary market would be cheaper than going through the AD. I should figure out if we want to go, maybe I'll wait until I can see a forecast (there's no way I'm taking a toddler to a rain game).

Is it me or are Cal fans just no fun to be around? They always say the same things and constantly brag about the same things.

We used to do joint viewing parties with their alumni but they really weren’t fun to be around so we stopped quite a few years ago. Much more pleasant experience regardless of the outcome.

depends on the fans, I find the later kick-offs, with more time to drink, can make some of them more aggressive. We'll be at the game and I will be wearing one of my Rose Bowl shirts.....

THERE'S NO STANFURDIUM
THE BAND IS ON THE FIELD
YOU LOST TO A GIRL FROM CAL ON JEOPARDY (to be fair, that did happen and they absolutely RELISHED it...I got facebook messages from random Cal people rubbing it in my face)

You know what? I LOVE every time a Cal fan says one of these, because it means that they don't have anything better to brag about -- a Rose Bowl win, a conference championship, or even a Big Game win (though that last one may change this year).
By all means, keep re-living an event that happened 36 years ago. It makes me smile.
That being said, Stanford students chanting "We got in!" is more prickish by far than anything Cal fans say.

=> last Stanford Rose Bowl appearance - 2016
last C.a.l Rose Bowl appearance - 1959
== Stanford Rose Bowl appearances since 1959 - 6
=> last Stanford Rose Bowl win - 2016
last C.a.l Rose Bowl win - 1938
== Stanford Rose Bowl wins since 1938 - 5
=> overall Big Game record - Stanford leads 63-46-11
last Cal Big Game win - 2009
our worst experience at Memorial Stadium is Cal students throwing full beer cans at us after a win, fortunately they were not very accurate.

It's absolutely ridiculous that any conference team would be on the Pac-12 Network four games in a row. I understand that we've lost four of five games, but there's still no excuse for this. The conference at least needs to acknowledge that not all fans have access to their third-tier network and rotate teams through that purgatory. Not only does it hurt recruiting, I'd imagine it's a disappointing inconvenience for the parents of our players, many of whom are scattered around the country and can't fly to every game. It's a travesty.

could be worse, our game will be OSU's seventh game on the Pac-12 Network this season including one streak of five consecutive games......

Given all the folks here *proudly* proclaiming their lack of interest in this football team, can you blame the PAC-12?

Right. It's also interesting that OF spends a considerable amount of time writing intelligently on this board, while claiming he doesn't watch the games anymore.
If anyone ever disagrees with your point, OF, all they have to say is that you've personally admitted that you're not watching >50% of the snaps first-hand, so how would you know? To which you could probably reply, "I've seen enough", or "if you've seen one run up the middle for -2 yards, you've seen 'em all..." And you might not be wrong. ;-)

Then we should win. :-) It reminds me of Harbaugh's response to running up the score: if you don't like it, then stop us from doing it.
I understand the frustration due to Larry Scott failing to negotiate a better carriage deal for the Pac 12 network, but it's business. If we don't deserve more eyeballs, we don't get more eyeballs.
I for one am happy that at least every game is being broadcast. It wasn't that long ago that most games were impossible to see.
And frankly for away games I listen to the radio more often than watch them on TV. Listening to Reiss/Husak/Platz adds more to my enjoyment of the game than I get from being able to see it.
