For all of you that thought the grind out power running style was boring, well it’s gone. You have your old time Stanford football back. Can’t run consistently. Can’t defend. Better throw for a ton of yards and score a boatload of points.

Maybe we need to order some Buddy Teevens tackling robots?

Well, in the bad ole days UCLA goes down the field and scores as time expires, so there’s that.

Still can't tackle. Major work needed in spring.

If somehow Stanford plays West Va. in a bowl the score will be 88-87.

LOL! That's exactly what I thought was going to happen.

I'm glad Stanford's defense ended up making a couple plays when it really needed them.

Yep, they were tough when they had to be so you at least have to give them credit for that.

At the end of the day, all that matters is 11 in a row. My complaints about the playcall leading to the safety aside, congratulations to Coach Shaw, his staff and his players for setting up a game with Cal to not only continue the Big Game streak, but regain the Kings of California mantra.

Is it bad that I actually really want to see this happen?

Will we even have warm bodies left for tackling this spring?  The injury situation is atrocious.

I guess you wouldn't have Hall do his toreador impression next time. Good call.
