Supposedly he wants to go back. Selfishly of course I’d love to see him in the Big-12 where he belongs (I say that as a complement to his offense) and where he can’t hurt us. But it’s hard to believe that he’d go back, given that I think it was a pretty acrimonious departure. Most likely, he’s angling for a better pay-out from WSU.
I guess we’ll see.

Hilarious - thanks for the link. That being said, and putting my lawyer hat on for a minute, the website lays out a compelling case to scale back sovereign immunity for business contracts with the state.

Presumably the folks in charge at TTU now are different, that was quite a while ago and ADs/presidents don't seem to stick around for very long. Then again maybe the grudge is deeper than that. At any rate it would certainly be nice for WSU to return to being a patsy.

Man, who would ever be crazy enough, or desperate enough, to bring a coach out of retirement to once again take the reins of a program 15 or 20 years after they left the first time?
