Only one Pac-12 player on first team. I’ll let you guess who. (Three on second team, four on third.)

Iowa is now TEU. Noah Fant not playing in their bowl. Wonder if Kaden will not play because of injury or the draft.
Who is this Kirven kid?

It must be unusual for the same school to produce tight ends for both 2nd and 3rd teams.

Especially a team that was 7-5 and ranked 68th in the country in passing yards per game. (Stanford was 19th)

In case anyone wants to read more about Kirven’s accomplishments.
Yeah we blew it, but kudos to the kid.
And nice of the PA paper to not mention the missed Stanford connection.

And not a single Stanford player on the three squads! I haven't done the complete homework, but when was the last time that happened? Last year, we had Love (first team); in 2016, we had Solomon Thomas (third team); in 2015, there was McCaffrey (first team); 2014, there was Andrus Peat (first team); in 2013, there were three first team nominations: Yankey, Murphy and Reynolds; 2012, we had two first team nominations (Yankey and Ertz); in 2011, we had five nominations (Luck, Fleener, Martin, DeCastro, Thomas); in 2010, there were four nominations (Luck, Martin, Beeler, Marecic). Anybody spot a trend?

Lazy recruiting.
