2008 Sun Bowl - needle - 12-23-2018

We can only hope that 10 years from now someone will devote time and resources to a comprehensive oral history of the upcoming Stanford - Pitt game.

Or, maybe not.

Here's a lengthy remembrance of the 3-0 victory by Oregon State over Pitt in perhaps the worst college football bowl game ever. I love this classic line:

In 2008 the Cougs and the Huskies were the doormats of the league and the Beavers finished 9-4.
Things have changed a lot in the last decade.
