After reading the thread title and then the comments, I felt certain we were talking about Kristin Klein and Adam Keefe. They were dating when I was a student, and I remember thinking that the athletic department should've promised athletic scholarships for their unborn children way back then. Turns out it would've saved everyone a lot of time, as all three of their children will be student athletes at Stanford in the fall -- daughters playing volleyball, son playing basketball, just like mom and dad. (Adam also played at least one season of volleyball, and he was fairly frightening along the front line, back when the tallest volleyball players were in the 6'4" to 6'6" range.)

BTW, interesting to note that no one's mentioned the fact that Kathryn Plummer just took home this year's Honda Award for volleyball. Ho hum, I guess...
