Stanford up 7-1 in the top of the 4th. Tawa has a homer and Handley is 2/3 with 3 RBI and a run scored. Palisch has given up 1 run on 3 hits in 3 2/3 innings.

UCLA loses to #19 Michigan, 7-5. Otherwise, the top teams prevailed.
Oregon State is showing one super bat, three other good bats, and then a brobdingnagian hole, The bottom of their order could be bad, and much weaker than last year. They are pitching very well, however--like a 1.76 ERA to date.
Vanderbilt looks like a strong #1.

The worst is over.
The Horns' Madden and Elder, who entered the series with a combined 0.49 ERA, are done pitching this series.
Horns now go with Cobb (3.60) and Henley (6.75), unless they've given and go to Whalen (three earned runs in nine innings pitched).

Stanford scored 8 runs in the 4th inning today on 3 hits, 7 walks, 4 wild pitches, 3 stolen bases and an error. The game was declared a Stanford victory in the bottom of the 7th after a rain delay with Stanford ahead 9-0.
Next on the schedule - no games during Finals Week followed by the start of the P12 season vs. Utah at home.
