Not a lot of enthusiasm unknown to maples on this board. We started out slow (9-2 hole) but midway through the first half we tied it at 11.

One of the worst teams I’ve seen in years. But enough about UCLA...

Down 13. Nope not excited

How in the world does this coaching staff not have this team better prepared? They look absolutely clueless on defense and shot selection on offense is awful. They're playing like a team that wants the season to end already - apparently they aren't interested in postseason play...
Maybe Haase shouldn't get another season...

36-22 at the half. A bleh finish to a bleh year.

From 104 a couple of weeks ago to maybe 44 tonight. What progress.

Now down 57-31.
I guess the silver lining is nobody will have to witness another game like this the this season.

I tried to watch a little. Kudos to Sharma for playing hard and smart tonight. Everyone else? Not much to cheer about.
I would not be upset if Haase is fired.

Maybe? MAYBE?
C’mon. If Dawkins team had turned in a performance half this bad, you would have been writing angry letters to Muir demanding the coach be fired.
And, remember, this is the 2nd such performance in a week!

The team checked out after the UW game.

By the way, projected NBA first rounder:
2/9 shooting (22%), 0/2 from 3, 0/0 FT, 3 reb, 0 assists, 3 TO, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 3 PF, 4 pts
Yeah, maybe the silver lining is that this increases his probability of coming back. If not, hell of last game.

Won't have to witness ANY more games from this team. What a pathetic no-show tonight

Strangely enough, we only lost by 7 - halfway through the second half, we picked things up and they started to slow down. If I were the seniors, I'd be pissed: Sharma had 18 pts, 13 rbs, 4 blocks, and Sheffield (RS-JR but academic senior) also had 18 - none of the non-seniors managed double figures. Okpala was 4-13 with 9 points and 4 fouls. And our bench had 31 points. Our "point" guards Davis and Ryan combined for 0-12. Wow...

Remember when the Houston Rockets lost to the Warriors in last season's Western Conference Finals by missing 27 straight 3-pointers?
We came close to that twice in the past week.

I'm certain Okpala will not be playing in the NBA next year.

Scouts are looking at his size, wingspan, athleticism, and defensive ability, and going "Jesus, what if he had real offensive coaching?"

So you’re saying even scouts think our coaching staff isn’t any good. They must not read the Board... To me, few of the weaknesses in KZ’s game look like “coaching” weaknesses.

I think Haase lost the players. If so, that will be apparent to Muir and Haase will be gone. If he is getting calls from all the players and their parents complaining about Haase, see ya.
