It's hard to watch the generation that sacrificed everything to keep us free grow old and die. We owe them so much, but the only way to truly honor them is to cherish and keep that freedom they fought so hard to give us.

Bobbbbb, what unit? Lex is in Normandy or at least was a couple of days ago. We spent ten days there during the 1996 World Cup. I could have spent a thousand days.

Last Fall at a Michigan football weekend I met Jim Harbaugh and asked him about their Spring 2018 team trip to Normandy. He said that a major impact was that the players realized that most of those who died on the beaches on D-Day were their same age, i.e., 18 to 22.
Let us always honor the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who made D-Day a success.
Geaux Cardinal!

I saw a stat that said 80% of Vietnam deaths were between 17-21. Just really unfathomable in this day and age.
