Women's Volleyball starts Friday - BobK - 08-28-2019
The # 1 ranked Cardinal take on Charleston at Charleston on Friday then Duke Saturday same place.
Next Wednesday Stanford is at # 10 Florida and it's on the SEC channel.
Sunday the 8th Stanford is at home vs # 4 Texas on the Pac 12 channel.
Stanford lost only one player and she was outstanding, However Madaline Gates is a Grad transfer from UCLA was a 2nd team All American and plays the same position, Midle Blocker.
Stanford also has the # 1 recruiting class.

<p>Hard not to be optimistic about this year. Most things I read about Gates sound as though she will be a step up in talent. Apparently has the ability to be very effective as a slide hitter. Apparently a late bloomer in high school who was very interested in Stanford, but Stanford didn't offer, but now she gets her chance. A brother is also at or coming to Stanford for the men's program. </p>

Great story on Jenna other than John Dunning was her coach as a Frosh.
Didn’t know that about Gates brother. He’s a 2020
We have a women volleyball player coming in a setter who’s brother is on the men’s volleyball team. Small world

The Nebraska and BYU match ups in late Sept are going to be awesome.
