Thanks, VG. Fitzmorris moved from MB to opposite last year, with Campbell at MB, and I assume they are still at those positions. I don't know which of Gates and Campbell is MB1 vs. 2.

Forgot about Fitz moving outside.  Which makes her hitting night more impressive - she hit .615 for the night. Other good signs - not so many service errors - only 8 against 6 aces. OTOH, Campbell's night was a bit more problematic than I though - 4 kills, 2 errors, .200.  She only got ten swings, and didn't play set 3, it appears. Did they trot out a MB-less rotation for a while?  I saw Vicini got some time, but only one attempt. Pining for the days when conferences didn't try to monetize low-quality school provided streams, VG

The coverage started late, but the game is on KZSU-2.  Jump on it quickly.  It may be over in 3 sets.

Duke came out for set 3 with a lot more energy, leads 20-17 in set 3, Hambly calls TO.
Earlier, Duke coach got a yellow card for arguing a call, classic move to fire up the team.

Stanford wins set 3 26-24. Plummer's hitting really came on down the stretch, including from the back row.
Now time to hit the road before the hurricane blows us out of town. . .

The predicted path of Dorian has shifted, making it appear that the game can happen (if they don't cancel it too early).

The Univ. of Florida has suspended classes through Wednesday (the day of the WVB game) but all facilities are to be open. The WVB game was not specifically mentioned, but I am pretty sure the match will be played, barring a change in the weather. (The suspension of classes is because of concern for students having difficulty in returning to the school in time.)
