Hopefully a few can catch on elsewhere. Or make a practice squad. Garnett a great example of how different the NFL game is. Great college lineman. Never cut it in NFL.

I am most surprised about Meeks. Good luck to all of them, and of course they all have many great options going forward.

There will be injuries and there are practice squads.
Garnett has been injured more than healthy, and was drafted by Baalke into a system that no longer exists in Santa Clara. Square peg, round hole. Hopefully he can find a more square hole system to fit into.
Was really bummed that Vaughters was cut. We have had way too many former players on the Packers and not enough on Da Bearsss.
In other news - announced at the stadium yesterday - Ty Montgomery is keeping his #88 but will be the Jets' starting RB. Shaw's misuse of him during his senior season still frustrates me.

<p>Looks like Stanford has 30 players on NFL rosters:</p><p><br></p><p>

<br></p><p><br></p><p>I don't know about 2019 rosters, but that would be an increase of three from last year, and would land Stanford at about #8 among colleges with the most NFL players:</p><p><br></p><p>

<p>What is up with all the html tags showing on these posts? I even notice the spacing has gotten much larger after attempts to create new paragraphs. Really odd.</p>

Bell hasn't played in any of the preseason, iirc, so he'll need some time to get up to speed. I wouldn't be surprised if Ty gave way to Bell after two drives, however.
