Harrison Phillips - yvonne - 09-24-2019

Harrison Phillips, who now plays for the Bills, tore his ACL Sunday. It had happened on the second to last drive, a player was thrown into his leg which was planted in the ground and extended. He says he was pretty sure it was torn but tried to go back in the last drive, but his leg gave out the first play.

Bummer.  I still remember when he came back the year after the injury. You may recall this but early on in the season he got hurt. I think he originally thought it was a very bad injury. I can recall him on the sidelines fighting back the tears not because he was hurting – just because he’d worked so hard to get back and thought his season might be done again. Fortunately he recovered fairly quickly and ended up having a great season.
