I think it is interesting that at a time when Pac-12 football and men's basketball is clearly falling behind its conference brethren, women's basketball is ascendant.

They could be the three best teams in the country, and this will never happen. I would be shocked if two made it. If they run through the non-conference undefeated, they still have to face each other, and they will be severely penalized for losing.
