Costello sounds like the starter - OutsiderFan - 10-25-2019

Am I the only one on this board who saw the Mercury story that said Costello is between questionable and probable for Arizona, given he has practiced this week?

No, but that statement is somewhat open to interpretation.

R.J. Abeytia seems to have the most current data on this, and he reported the same status that you mentioned above after Wednesday's practice.  Just a few hours ago, however, he posted the following:

All of that said, my gut feel is the same as yours - I expect KJ tomorrow. I don't think Shaw wants to pump-fake with KJ's availability, but he probably thinks the ambiguity could be a little annoying for Arizona's game-planning.

Yes, it was referenced in the Mills thread, but behind a pay wall.  KJ was reportedly "questionable to probable" on Wednesday and the article repeats that and adds that he and West split reps all week.  To me that sounds like Costello will give it a go, but they aren't convinced he'll be back to form.  The loss of Jet Toner no doubt puts more pressure on the QB/offense as well. But at least they found a 252 pound track athlete to wear a lineman jersey.

I took the bus home from the UCLA game, but unfortanately the wheels came flying off, and to make matters worse, when we got off the bus we were all pelted by big chunks of falling sky.  One of the passengers picked up a chunk of the sky and tried to stick a fork in it, but was distracted by another passenger struggling to put lipstick on a nearby pig.  The pig was washed up in no time, fortunately, and joined the rest of us on the side of the road listening to a fat lady singing her lungs out.  It felt like the universe was trying to tell me something, but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

LOL, that was awesome!  Very well played...

I'll take Costello at 50% over West

Stanford flipped from underdog to 1 1/2 point favorite.

Favorite?  Wow, those oddsmakers, trying to get us to tempt fate :)

Could be worse, could be the Oklahoma Sooner Schoone.
