Every month I wonder whether to keep renewing my subscription to the San Jose Mercury.  I get the news from NY Times, so I look to the Merc for local coverage (for instance of Stanford sports!!) and it hardly seems like enough to justify the recycling, let alone the cost.  Especially since Ann Killion left...
