Berty has been really good. She replaced M. Keefe midway through the match and was more effective. I hope Keefe isn't hurt; don't know.

They needed a change and brought in Berty who then had 8 kills hitting 800. Whatva debut. I thought I saw Berty had played a game. Nothing said in the chalk talk about her redshirting only that Baird continues to be a redshirt

Berty's stats list her as playing last night's match only but Hambly made it sound as if she'd played before. Incredible performance! Baird was the only one mentioned as redshirting which has been true all season.

I think I saw Berty play briefly in an early season match. It could be that she didn't accumulate any stats.

It's interesting that McClure may end up being team MVP (in my eyes) after being benched in favor of a frosh. Okay, Jenna Grey is probably the true MVP, but MM is holding the offense together while KP is out. If we land a top seed, she's a big part of it.

GoStanford story said that Berty "saw the first action of her career" in last night's game. So unless "action" is defined as "participating statistically significant plays," I assume that means it was her first game?
