Spencer Jones - JABRoy - 12-02-2019

In wich year Spencer Jones is born? Is he a “true” freshman (2000 or later)? Thanks

RE: Spencer Jones - BostonCard - 12-02-2019

Not sure about birth year, but he is a true freshman (graduated high school in 2019).

Spencer Jones was not some ballyhooed recruit. Only 6 offers according to Rivals and Stanford was his only Power 5 offer.  Hell, after Stanford maybe his best offer was Davidson?

Whatever Haase's other flaws are, he has been excellent at identifying under-the-radar recruits. KZ was another "all upside" recruit who wasn't well known or heavily recruited and immediately made a splash at Stanford.

KZ was a top 30 recruit.

True, but only had a Stanford offer and committed before he blew up.

KZ was ranked 68th by 247 and 69th by Rivals at the time he committed. It was only by the end of his senior year, well after he had committed, that he (literally and figuratively) had fully blossomed and leaped up the rankings.

Per 24/7 Okpala was the 5th highest recruit we've signed in their database (dating back to 1999), behind only the Lopez twins, Dwight Powell, and Reid Travis.

What is the date of birth of Spencer Jones?
Is it a secret kept by CIA?
