So, Jenna Gray is setter of the year and Hentz is Libero, as expected. Fitzmorris and Gates join them on the All Pac-12 squad (apparently they don't differentiate between 1st and 2nd team).
The shocker is the Plummer isn't recognized, even with an HM.
It's also a shame that McClure was only listed as an HM (along with freshman Kipp). She is an essential reason for Stanford winning the league.
But really, no KP anywhere?

I believe there's a minumum number of games to be recognized for all league. Plummer just short. Same with All American.

From the Stanford release: Stanford senior
Kathryn Plummer, a two-time Pac-12 Player of the Year (2017, 2018), was not eligible for postseason Pac-12 awards due to not meeting the minimum conference matches played requirement (2/3).

It's all good. I think everyone in the WVB community knows she is a force. The rest for recovery was well deserved. And the #3 overall seed suggests there was very little upside to forcing her to play rather than find time to rest and recover. Now in December I am sure the team would prefer Kathryn near 100% rather than Kathryn <<100%, but the three-time Pac-12 POY.

I understand that for national honors like All-American, the minimum is 2/3 of sets rather than matches, but KP didn't make that minimum either.

You’re correct it’s sets.

If my math is right, we've played 100 sets total, and Plummer has played in 65, just missing the cut-off. If by matches, she's played in 18/28 (64%).
In conference she only played in 10/20 matches.

Per the chalk talks we needed a couple of 4-5 set games for Plummer to be eligible
We won in 3-4 sets

I enjoyed watching the Jenna/Morgan sismance video. Not only because it shows off two great representatives of the Cardinal, but also because it transported me back to life as a student and my undergrad days. It was very well done.

Wouldn’t it be great if Hentz becomes National POY? Of course that assumes great things happen over the next few weeks!
