Wow. That said, I'm sure there will be some hurdles when it comes to athletes, NCAA rules, Title IX, etc, etc, etc.

Arizona and a number of southern states have been doing this for years. Really hurt our recruiting in partial scholarship sports.

Why this would affect ncaa rules and title 9 affect is a weird thought

Stanford simply raided the minimum household salary. This is 6-8 years old

As long as the benefit is provided to all students, not just athletes, it would not run afoul of NCAA rules.

The benefit has always been all students in all states and at Stanford.

I posted here because mostly we talk sports.
