She's the queen of the joust. I don't know where she stacks up against our all time setters in the category of pure setting, but I have a hard time beleiving any of the other all time greats can beat OH and Middle Blockers at the net as consistently as she does. Probably worth 1/2 a point to a full point a game, it seems to happen so often. Her time is impeccable to contact the ball as she's on the upswing of her jump to get full momentum behind it.

Bryn Kehoe, '07, also excelled at jousting. She's also still the all-time career leader in assists (5,956, vs 5,307 for Jenna through the CP-SLO match) and assists/set (13.3, vs Jenna's 11.2). That said, I love Jenna's play as well - it's be fun to see a comparison of their jousting kill % stats

Until 2007 sets were to 30. Those extra 5 points to win a set are not trivial in per set stats when comparing to someone in the 25 points per set era

As a rough approximation, Jenna's 11.2 assists/set-to-25 (ignoring 5th sets, which are not great in number) means she assists in 11.2/25 or 44.8% of our points. An extra 5 points per set would thus mean an extra 2.24 assists per set, which would bring her hypothetical assists/set-to-30 to 13.44 -- basically comparable to Bryn's 13.3.
[but Jenna can throw the javelin further!] ;-)
