MSwim Pac-12 championships -
M T - 03-06-2020
I haven't been following it, so this is just a summary.
The diving events last week count as the first 3 events of this meet. Although Conor Casey won the 1m and 3m Springboard Diving events, Stanford was just 3rd overall going into the swimming events also in Seattle.
Compared to the women's events there seems to be a lot of NCAA 'A' times in this meet.
Day 1:
Stanford's 800 Free Relay finished 4th, well behind 3rd, and still had an 'A' time.
Stanford's 400 Med Relay won, in a 'B' time.
Team scores: USC 167, Stanford 163, Arizona 159 .... Cal 68
Day 2:
Grant Schoults won the 500 Free in a 'B' time. Also places 10, 12, 13, 14, 16 All 'B'. (Must be a lot of competition in workout!)
200IM: 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 18 All but the last are 'B' times.
50 Fr: T12, 14, 15: All B (All sub 20.)
200 Fr Relay: 4th, did not make 'B' time. (All sub 20 splits)
Team scores: Stanford 283.5, Cal 278, Ariz 257, ASU 211
Day 3: Fri 6PM (Telecast 6:30PM PAC-12 Bay Area, Ariz, Wash)
400 IM / 100 Fly / 200 Free / 100 Breast / 100 Back / 200 Medley Relay
Day 4: Sat 6:30PM (Telecast 6:30PM PAC-12 Los Angeles, Wash)
1650 Free / 200 Back / 100 Free / 200 Breast / 200 Fly / 400 Free Relay

Thanks for the summaries. Men seemed to do better than I anticipated, but that may just mean more were at least partially tapered, unlike the women's meet where most seemed to have fully trained right thru, and many event winning times were modest.
MT - any hope that day 4 may be rebroadcast on Pac12 Bay in the coming days when basketball cools down? I at least get Pac12 Bay and National on Comcast in Sacramento, but seeing only one day of 4 is still pretty disappointing.

Turns out we won the 400 Medley Relay because the first 2 teams were disqualified (both on the Breast -> Fly exchange). That gave us a lot of points and knocked down Cal for a while.
Cal did very well in so many events. Stanford did well in at least the 200 Breast. (2, 3, 5, 7)
It was a tight 3-way race for 2nd in the team race. Stanford was third.
The day 4 coverage included many events from earlier in the meet. It is scheduled to be shown at 2AM(as I type) and 2PM on Monday on PAC-12 BayArea. I didn't look for later.
