In Stanford grad Allen Drury's best selling '59 novel "Advise and Consent" Utah Senator Brigham Anderson is one of the key characters. In his bio chapter it is noted that he captained the Stanford football team. He is played in the film based upon the book by Don Murray.

Serra is pictured in the 1954 Big Game program. No. 85, end. Soph from SF, 6'1" 188LBS. He once told me that he hated Taylor so he quit and got his law degree.
