Anna Wilson tells her story - needle - 04-07-2020

Also posted in the WBB thread, but her story is about much more than basketball. Hoping a new thread will allow more to see it.

Wilson, on having to grow up fast and living in the shadow of a famous older brother:

Is it just me, or does it read like she's saying goodbye?

Or is she saying goodbye because it's not yet clear whether another season is an option?

It sure sounds to me like she’s saying good bye. I was in the gym in Honolulu when she hit her head and the game was called. I’m so glad she is healthy and I wish her well whether she stays or leaves.

I'd echo the sentiment. The vibe I'm getting from Twitter is that we've seen Anna Wilson's last game. What remains to be seen is whether Dijonai comes back. I really, really, really, hope that she does. It's a beautiful insight into everything Anna Wilson has gone through, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
