TESTING - OutsiderFan - 04-17-2020

This 30-minute result test is happening in New Haven, CT, but should be scalable.

CVS says this one location can handle 750 tests per day. If they can get up to 20 such testing sites in the state, it could process 15,000 tests a day and probably would be enough to do adequate surveillance testing, not requiring doctor referral.

For those who are unaware and care, Hartford County, with lesser outbreaks than New Haven and Fairfield counties, has coming up on 2x the cases confirmed in Santa Clara County, and has 4x more deaths, with 2x less population.  Translation: It's way worse where I am than in the Bay Area.

RE: TESTING - Mick - 04-17-2020

I left the DC Metroplex on March 13 when there were 30 cases.  Today, there are 20,000 in a population of 6 million people.

There are 24,424 cases in California, with a population of nearly 40 million.
