Sutro was much more than the baths. There was an ice skating rink on a mezzanine above the pools. An Egyptian Room, a Tom Thumb Room, a Last Supper Room and the machines that are now housed in the Museum Mechanique. Plus all the pink popcorn you could eat in ten lifetimes. Just down the hill the original It’s It counter and Playland and the Hot House with home made Mexican food. Great place to grow up, surf in high school and make out at night.
