I was there in LA as a 13 year old assistant cameraman (First AC) for Movietone News. For you youngsters the major studios each had a newsreel service exhibited in motion picture theaters. The main source for visual news until blown out of the water by the evil television.

First WS for the Chisox since the Blacksox.

Sherry was Jewish and my father is a proud (Jewish) Angelino.

His brother Norm is credited with turning Sandy Koufax' career around by telling Koufax to stop trying to throw it so hard, though that may be apocryphal.

Go Go Sox. Aparicio, Fox, Landis, Minoso. Also great pitching. Wynn, Staley, Pierce, Shaw. Great defense, not much power.

Aparicio the first in a long line of Venezuelan shortstops.

I might go with Chico Carrasquel :)

Aparicio to Fox. Tinker to Evers. How many other keystone combinations are in the HOF?
