Thanks for sharing! A great to read, long, in-depth article on Nneka and her leadership impact on so many things. From when she was a freshman at Stanford she has been our favorite player. We always joked that Chiney had the personality to one day become President but it was Nneka who proved to be the best President of the Women's National Basketball Players Association for our times and most definitely, so much more. Damn, she's so impressive. So proud of her.

Nneka epitomizes the goodness and all the best potential for the concept of student-athletes.  She clearly learned so much more than "just" how to be a great basketball player when she was at Stanford.  All the Nnekas in Stanford history inspire me to believe, idealistically, that college sports can still play a positive role in the development of our young people that far exceeds the cynical financial calculations that too often dominate athletics.

She doesn't miss a beat. So well-organized, so forward-thinking. Such leadership. I wish she was the US president.

No one gets to be president without making unsavory compromises. Or worse. So I hope she does not become president. She should be the head of the Hewlett or Gates foundation after she retires. She would be a great leader in Philanthropy.
